The positive aspect of the critique finds its fullest realisation in the moment ‘Beyond’. The task of the critique is not only to draw the contours of the crisis of the university, but also to show that we want and can live and work differently. This chapter is devoted to alternative practices and ways of organising higher education. At its centre lays the notion of the common and its inherent logic. We therefore look not only at what the antagonistic dimension of the common looks like in higher education, how it undermines existing property relations, what kind of benefits it brings to the organisation of the sector, but also how existing institutions of the common finance and govern themselves. Finally, we propose how to look at higher education as a system through the cycles of the common.

摘要
