Fire-resistant oil spill containment boom is widely and effectively used to contain burning oil spills. Standards and specifications worldwide related to the oil spill containment boom have been summarized. By comparing and studying the differences between these standards, the shortage of fire-resistant oil spill containment boom in China is analyzed, and reasonable suggestions are put forward for the development of high-performance fire-resistant oil spill containment boom.

Fire-resistant oil spill containment boom is widely and effectively used to contain burning oil spills.
