Tungsten is an indispensable material in modern national economic life, as well as an important material in modern aviation and military fields, and is therefore listed as a strategic mineral resource by many countries. This paper summarizes the application areas, resource distribution, production and consumption of tungsten ore worldwide in recent years. China is the largest country in the world in terms of tungsten resources reserves, production, export and consumption. As a major strategic mineral, the efficient mining and utilization of tungsten ore resources should receive attention.
