Energy Meter Monitoring Using IoT
摘要
The paper introduces a Smart Electricity Energy Meter based on IoT technology utilizing ESP32 and the Blynk 2.0 app. It aims to overcome the limitations of traditional manual meter reading by enabling real-time monitoring of electricity usage. By incorporating sensors like the SCT-013–030 current sensor and ZMPT101B voltage sensor this device accurately measures voltage, current, power, and total energy consumption in kilowatt hours. The collected data is sent to the Blynk 2.0 app allowing users to view a dashboard from anywhere. To ensure data recording the system includes EEPROM storage in the ESP32 module to preserve readings during power interruptions. This project showcases how IoT technology can enhance energy monitoring by offering convenience, accuracy, and data accessibility. The deployment of this energy meter signifies a notable advancement toward more effective energy management and consumer awareness in today’s digital era.
