Tuberculosis Associated Chylothorax
摘要
Chylothorax is an infrequent disorder commonly associated with neoplasm or trauma to the thoracic duct. Specifically, nontraumatic chylothorax is uncommon and represents a less frequent presentation of the condition. Chylothorax is a very rare but well-described complication of tuberculosis (TB), developing with extensive mediastinal or abdominal lymphadenopathy and significant pleural disease. Therefore, this study presents a case report of a 17-year-old female patient diagnosed with TB infection-associated chylothorax.
