Two-dimensional Nanomaterials and Smart Sensor Devices

In 2004, two-dimensional (2D) graphene nanosheets were successfully prepared from highly oriented pyrolytic graphite by mechanical exfoliation, sparking a surge in 2D material research. In recent years, with the continuous development of 2D material synthesis technology, a variety of emerging 2D materials have emerged, such as Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs), Hexagonal Boron Nitride (h-BN), Black Phosphorus (BP), layered metal oxides, and Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs), etc. Due to their unique microstructures and physical and chemical properties, they have shown important application potential in the fields of electronic devices, photonic devices, energy conversion, information storage, and smart sensing.
