Ultrasound dyeing aims to decrease the environmental impact by assisting the dyeing efficiency with low disposal of waste material and moving towards sustainable and eco-friendly dyeing process as well as dye extraction. The ultrasound method assists in maintaining higher efficiency of natural dye extraction and enhancing the exhaustion percentage with improved dyeing properties as the usage of different mordants increases the effectiveness and lower disposal of wastewater. Ultrasound-assisted dyeing improves specific characteristics, such as exhaustion rate, Lower energy consumption, Uniform dye distribution, Colour fastness, better penetration, and Lower environmental impact. The paper aims to summarize the dye extraction process from different sources through ultrasound systems and how ultrasound systems enhance the dye extraction process from natural sources. The dye exhaustion process of natural dyes is also assessed in this chapter using the ultrasound system. The following is a detailed exposition of how the dyeing properties of materials dyed with natural dyes can be boosted by employing an ultrasound environment.
