Relationship Between Class Attendance and Student Performance for an Engineering Mathematics Unit in the Pre-and Post-COVID Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic recently pushed academic institutions to transform teaching and learning activities from primarily face-to-face modes to online-based learning. Opinions on these changes in learning mode vary. Some students enjoy the flexibility that online learning provides, allowing them to choose learning times and locations, while others found it challenging to cope with online learning and experienced decreased motivation.
