With the vigorous development of the aerospace industry, the number and complexity of spacecraft development tasks continue to increase, posing new demands on the utilization of aerospace technology documents. The existing methods for managing technology documents are inadequate to adapt to current development trends. Aerospace enterprises are enhancing the quality and efficiency of aerospace technology document management by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This paper, based on practical management needs of aerospace enterprises, focuses on the specific applications of IoT technology in various aspects such as storage modification, retrieval, inventorying, security supervision, and environmental monitoring of aerospace technology documents. It summarizes the practical effects of IoT technology in empowering aerospace technology document management from two aspects, such as enhancement of intelligent management level for aerospace technology documents, and reinforcement of security management for documents.
