The paper explores the design of a cloud computing architecture for ultra-large-scale Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) clusters. With the rapid development of cloud computing technology, IaaS has become a crucial model for enterprises and service providers to deploy and manage computing resources. This paper first introduces the key technological development stages of resource pool management in a cloud computing environment. Then, it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of existing IaaS resource management and scheduling methods and proposes a novel resource management and scheduling strategy to improve resource utilization, reduce operational costs, and ensure high reliability and scalability of the system. Finally, the effectiveness of this strategy in ultra-large-scale IaaS environments is validated through experiments.
