In order to accurately grasp the dynamics of the road transport market under normalized management and the future trend of road coal transport prices, the daily data of coal road transport prices from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 were selected. The root-mean-square error and so on were applied to evaluate the accuracy of the ARIMA-LSTM model in parallel and series. The ARIMA model was further used, along with the LSTM model and the ARIMA-LSTM parallel combination, to forecast the coal road transport price, and finally, the value of the model were to get the final forecast results and make a comparative analysis. The empirical results show that in the short term, the transport price index is in a state of slow decline; the ARIMA-LSTM combined model is better than other single models. It is concluded that the ARIMA-LSTM combined model can predict the future development trend of the road coal transport market more accurately, and the research results can provide specific references for logistics enterprises and governmental decision-making departments.
