Research and Application of High Temperature Cementing Technology in Qinghai Oilfield
摘要
The exploration and development of Qinghai Oilfield has ventured into deep strata, with an increasing number of ultra-deep and ultra-high temperature wells. Drilling depths have exceeded 7000 m, and bottom-hole temperatures have reached 235 °C. The ultra-high temperature poses challenges to the temperature resistance, stability, and cement stone strength of cement slurries, as well as the temperature resistance of tool accessories. In response to these challenges, by selecting high-temperature resistant fluid loss additives, high-temperature resistant retarders, and other high-temperature resistant cement additives with good compatibility, research has been conducted to develop a high-temperature resistant cement slurry system. The performance of this high-temperature resistant cement slurry system was evaluated in the laboratory, and the results showed that the cement slurry system can withstand temperatures as high as 240 °C, with good resistance to salt. Even when mixed with saturated saltwater, the performance can meet the requirements for deep well cementing in high-temperature conditions. The fluid loss can be controlled to within 100 ml, with easily adjustable thickening time and high compressive strength of the cement stone, solving the problem of poor high-temperature resistance of the cement slurry system. Additionally, high-temperature resistant cementing tools and accessories were selected to ensure their reliability downhole. Through comprehensive simulation experiments using cementing software, supporting process technology measures were developed to form high-temperature and ultra-high temperature cementing technology. This technology has been successfully applied in multiple blocks in Qinghai Oilfield such as Kunteyi, Jianshan, Yingzhong, and Fengxi, addressing the technical challenges of cementing caused by high temperatures and ultra-high temperatures in the Qaidam Basin. This provides strong technical support and safety assurance for the construction of high-temperature and ultra-high temperature cementing in the Qaidam Basin.
