As a type of downhole deviation tool, the screw drilling tool poses a higher potential risk of accidents compared to other drilling tools due to its complex components, stringent technical requirements, frequent usage, and challenging working conditions. Currently in China, due to limitations in manufacturing technology and improper operation of screw drilling tools, downhole accidents occur frequently leading to significant economic losses. Therefore, it is imperative to implement effective preventive measures that can minimize the incidence of such accidents not only for enhancing drilling economic benefits but also for maximizing the lifespan of screw drilling tools. This paper aims to accurately analyze the causes behind these accidents and proposes improvements in the design, manufacturing process, and repair procedures of screw drill structures while ensuring strict quality control measures for finished drill tools. By significantly enhancing the safety aspects associated with their use and substantially reducing underground accident rates through systematic analysis on the future development direction of screw drill tools along with practical suggestions addressing relevant issues.

摘要
