Classification Method and Application of Carbonate Reservoirs Considering the Origin and Type of Fractures
摘要
When analyzing the production control factors of gas wells in the Deng4 gas reservoir of the Sinian system in central Sichuan, it was found that gas wells with developed fractured-vuggy reservoir have significant differences in production characteristics due to different types of fractures. Simply treating reservoirs with developed fractures and dissolution vugs as fractured-vuggy type reservoir is difficult to accurately evaluate the high and stable production capacity of gas wells. Based on the description of the development characteristics of rock core fractures, this article divides the fractures interpreted by imaging logging into three types: open fractures, low angle dissolution expansion fractures, and high angle dissolution expansion fractures. Combined with the development of dissolution vugs, a reservoir classification method and standard considering the genesis and type of fractures are established. It is confirmed that the development of pore-vuggy and low angle fractured-vuggy type reservoirs are the main factors affecting the high and stable production of gas wells, laying the foundation for the optimization of development and production areas.
