To enhance the coupling of terahertz (THz) fields in a novel field-effect THz detector, this study proposes a method for localized THz field enhancement based on meta-atoms constructed from split-ring resonators. By integrating these meta-atoms with traditional on-chip antennas, an additional Fano resonance is introduced, which amplifies the local electric field coupled within the transistor channel. Our research provides a significant theoretical foundation for the detection of trace substances in the THz range.

摘要

To enhance the coupling of terahertz (THz) fields in a novel field-effect THz detector, this study proposes a method for localized THz field enhancement based on meta-atoms constructed from split-ring resonators. By integrating these meta-atoms with traditional on-chip antennas, an additional Fano resonance is introduced, which amplifies the local electric field coupled within the transistor channel. Our research provides a significant theoretical foundation for the detection of trace substances in the THz range.
