As the global energy crisis and environmental protection issues intensify, wind energy shows great potential as a clean energy source. However, the intermittency and uncertainty of wind energy resources pose challenges to the stable operation of equipment and power system dispatch, and accurate prediction of wind farm-related parameters has become a key issue. The article systematically summarizes the domestic and international research progress of wind power cluster prediction technology and gives an outlook. Firstly, it analyzes the necessary steps in the pre-processing of wind power data, secondly, it discusses the characteristics and application scenarios of different prediction methods, and then it elaborates the commonly used evaluation indexes of prediction effects, and finally it discusses the future development trend. It provides comprehensive reference information for the research and system development of wind power cluster prediction technology.
