Layer II: (II) Minilateralism and Strategic Minilateralism
摘要
This chapter introduces the expanded and newly-significant “in between” layer II of minilateralism, thus completing the three-layer model of security architecture. It first defines and interrogates the generic properties of “minilateralism”, before establishing those of the dominant variant of “strategic minilateralism”. Together, Chapters 2 and 3 form the composite three-layer model of security architecture. The following Chapter 4 provides an accompanying analytical framework for understanding “strategic minilateralism”.
