Experiments on the Richtmyer-Meshkov Instability (RMI) in a Dual Driver Vertical Shock Tube (DDVST) are presented. Experiments have been performed in which the length of time between the arrival of the incident shock wave and a secondary shock wave, traveling in the opposite direction to the first, is varied. Analysis of these experiments, including the measurement of mixing layer width and the rate of decay of turbulent kinetic energy, are presented and discussed.

Experiments on the Richtmyer-Meshkov Instability (RMI) in a Dual Driver Vertical Shock Tube (DDVST) are presented.
