Drilling pump is widely used in oil, natural gas and underground engineering to transport mud and other liquid materials. It consists of power end and hydraulic end. In the operating environment of long time, high load and complex working conditions, the hydraulic end of the drilling pump is prone to failure, resulting in production interruption and equipment damage. In this paper, QDP-2200 drilling pump is taken as the research object. Firstly, the function, working principle and fault causes of QDP-2200 drilling pump are introduced. Secondly, the working rules and operating characteristics of drilling pump are analyzed, and the multi-signal recognition technology of drilling pump is developed. In order to solve the problem of fault early warning of hydraulic end components of drilling pump, the difference of running track of drilling pump crosshead is used to realize early warning. By establishing an early warning model about the running trajectory of drilling pump crosshead, monitor the running trajectory of drilling pump crosshead and make fault early warning in time.
