As an important data asset in the oilfield, seismic data plays an important supporting role in the research process of oil and gas reserve increase. With the changes in the data management mode of oil companies, data management technology has also progressed and developed. We take several measures to address the challenges of decentralized seismic data management, incomplete supporting governance system, and difficulty in online secure sharing and application of large data volume. First, we have established an integrated seismic data model, optimized the hierarchical storage mechanism of seismic data, and developed a full-process quality control tool for seismic data, forming a full-life cycle management model for seismic results data. Secondly, we have developed supporting technologies such as efficient transmission of large data, rapid integration of geographic information, and full-text search of seismic documents, which have innovated the application mode of seismic data sharing. Thirdly, through cloud deployment of seismic processing and interpretation software, we have developed a two-way integration technology from basic seismic data to project research environment, which greatly improves the efficiency of data application. Since the system was launched, it has fully managed seismic-related data within the oilfield, ensuring the security of oilfield data assets. Moreover, utilizing multi-process management of intermediate seismic, it significantly shortens the seismic processing cycle. Using multi-version management of interpretation results, it effectively supports application scenarios such as basin-level seismic interpretation. Currently, the innovative data management and service technology has been extended to data management fields such as logging and VSP, forming an integrated management approach for large-block data of oilfield.
