Wuliwan Chang-6 oil reservoir is one of the main development reservoirs in Jing’an Oilfield. Since its development in 1996, it has produced a total of 16.55 million tons of oil. Currently, it has entered the stage of medium to high water cut development, facing scattered distribution of remaining oil, difficulty in accurate identification and utilization, prominent contradictions between plane and cut plane, accelerated increase in water cut, and high proportion of low production and long-term well shutdowns due to water breakthrough and insufficient formation energy. Changqing Oilfield has established a four-dimensional dynamic modeling system for oil and gas reservoirs with independent intellectual property rights through research on geological modeling technology, numerical simulation technology, three-dimensional visualization technology, and model updating technology based on machine learning and random modeling. It has achieved dynamic modeling and tracking simulation of existing oil and gas reservoirs, providing an integrated and effective support for management and decision-making in geological structure and attribute research, new well design evaluation, reservoir favorable area analysis, reservoir dynamic tracking, remaining oil potential exploration, production analysis and economic evaluation, and other aspects. By applying the system to the Wuliwan Chang-6 Reservoir, a conversion plan for the reservoir has been developed, which can improve the degree of reserve utilization and achieve the utilization of remaining reserves in local low-permeability layers. This has played a promoting role in changing the seepage field of the reservoir and improving the water drive effect through integrated profile adjustment, forming an injection production system adjustment technology, which is of great significance for guiding the high-quality development of similar reservoirs.
