Face Detection with Arduino and Computer Vision for Real-Time Automated Access Control
摘要
Security system has become a major concern in recent years because of the vast number of applications available on the internet. Initially, human entry and exit were tracked using a password and an ID card. It was determined that the implementation of such a system is both hazardous and infeasible. Face detection systems can be a safe and efficient tool in the rush to identify alternatives. Face detection is a recorded procedure in an electronic environment, and the data can be used whenever an issue arises. The technique can assist in recognizing one person and effectively distinguishing them from another. Face detection technology has advanced significance in a variety of applications, ranging from surveillance and security to interactive user interfaces. In our research, we demonstrate the ways an Arduino board can be used to drive a green LED in real time to indicate the presence of an identified human face. To achieve rapid and precise face detection, the system blends image processing techniques with Arduino hardware capabilities. There are several applications for this research work, including security systems, interactive installations, and user-friendly interfaces. Its low-cost design and simple implementation make it suitable for hobbyists and enthusiasts interested in experimenting with face detection and Arduino-based applications.
