ICare Application for Children Using AI Techniques
摘要
This paper presents the development of an AI-powered mobile application called ICare, which aims to empower parents in the care and upbringing of their children, particularly targeting the age group between 1 month and one year. The application leverages advanced AI techniques to analyze a baby’s crying sounds and predict the underlying reasons, assisting parents in better understanding their child’s emotions and needs. Additionally, the ICare app provides features for speech therapy, enabling personalized exercises to help children improve their language and communication skills. The integration of these AI-driven functionalities within a comprehensive childcare platform represents a significant step toward enhancing the human experience through thoughtful AI integration. The classification report indicates that the model achieves an overall accuracy of 74%, with high precision and recall for certain classes like “hungry,” while showing areas for improvement in precision for classes like “tired,” highlighting the app’s robust performance in predicting reasons for a baby’s cries, which is crucial for the app’s effectiveness in assisting parents.
