Bantul-Srandakan road segment is a provincial road with a length of 8.95 km. This road segment is primary collector road function 3, which connects the capital city of Bantul and Kulon Progo. Due to the highest number of accidents in Bantul occurred on this road, so this study aims to evaluate road geometrics conditions by conducting Road Safety Inspection (RSI) according to Pd/T/17/2005, in order to identify accident characteristics, analyse road geometric using AutoCAD Civil 3D and then compare with Bina Marga Guidelines (2021). Based on accident identification in 2020–2022, it is obtained 282 accidents with the highest type of accident front-side of 109 (39%), vehicle type is motorcycle (75%), number of minor injuries are 299 victims (93%) and 23 of deaths (7%). Based on RSI, it was found that the number of lanes as well as the width of lanes and shoulders have met the requirements. The results of geometric analysis of horizontal and vertical alignments have met the requirements of both bends, superelevation, slope, and vertical curves. However, several parts of road do not meet the requirements, such as landscaping in intersection, road mark, and disruption from sun during the day.
