In light of designing a harmonious and permanent oceanic space for living, here we superpose some of key Feng-shui criteria to a floating oceanic residence. Although oceanic application of Feng-shui, in the absence of its key subject of mountain(s), allows only a weak connection, this approach is self-evidently effective to plan more habitable atmospheric and hydrographic environment of an oceanic residence. In this designing of floating habitat complex, in conjunction with the previous article ‘ WCFS2023 Japan-12’, we take some key Feng-shui design criteria into account for planning an ideal residential space, ‘明堂’, of the Ulsan floating complex within nearshore coastal water of the southeastern sea of Korean peninsula. Five(5) selected Feng-shui criteria that we extend their land-origin domains of application into the oceanic environment are (1) northernly-backing mountain ranges, (2) southernly meandering water mass, (3) south façade of a structure and the directional orientation of a house; 坐向论, (4) water gain; 得水法, and, newly argued, (5) Feng-shui for oceanic residence; 海上住居风水.
