Design Methodology of Bamboo-Raft-Type Floating Structure (BRT-FS)
摘要
The authors have developed a novel floating structure—bamboo-raft-type floating structure (BRT-FS). However, the mechanical properties of BRT-FS differ from those of traditional VLFS. The load-bearing capacity and failure mode of BRT-FS are primarily controlled by longitudinal properties, exhibiting strong anisotropy. Facing these unique mechanical properties, it is urgent to establish a new design methodology to guide the engineering application of BRT-FS. This paper surveys the load combinations for concrete floating structures recommended by various standards and establishes load case combinations suitable for the BRT-FS. Based on these three limit states, serviceability limit state (SLS), ultimate limit state (ULS) and accidental limit state (ALS), design methodologies for BRT-FS are proposed.
