This keynote paper is concerned with recent research and developments on offshore aquaculture for enhancing environmental sustainability and increasing seafood production. We first discuss the motivation and challenges for moving offshore for the aquaculture industry. This is followed by highlighting technological advances and research needs in offshore fish farming infrastructure and offshore seaweed cultivation infrastructure.

摘要

This keynote paper is concerned with recent research and developments on offshore aquaculture for enhancing environmental sustainability and increasing seafood production. We first discuss the motivation and challenges for moving offshore for the aquaculture industry.
