Optimizing IoT Systems with Blockchain: A Comprehensive Framework for Security and Efficiency

Blockchain technology which is often associated with Bitcoin offers transactional security, anti-tampering features, and enhanced transaction disclosures across multiple application domains. It has the capacity to revolutionize the world economy for tracking of accounts, property deeds, and even medical records. IoT is a system of connected devices that may be useful in technological and or business environments. Blockchain transactions are secure, transparent, and tamper resistance, which makes them fit for use by the IoT since they are decentralized. Therefore, when IoT and blockchain are combined together, they have the capability to create a digital solution that is secure as well as efficient. However, for improved and real integration, certain challenges in each of the domains have to be solved. When technology advances, nothing becomes more volatile than anything that is considered old. Although there are specific algorithms that are considered vital concerning infrastructure security, there is a challenge concerning the development of lightweight adaptation techniques. Unfortunately, despite improvements over the course of the last decade they are still slow and have potential of improvement in certain areas such as security aspects and digital signature algorithms. Three goals are added to lightweight blockchain by this research paper, which are enhanced hashing performance, enhanced encryption and decryption to make it secure, and a new way of signing to ensure that the party responsible cannot deny it later. Thus, the whole work goes further proposing to develop the mature parallel models for hybrid encryption, decryption as well as hashing with references to nature. Furthermore, this paper has also presented empirical analysis and parametric study of the elliptic curve to know why has Edwards curve is more advantageous for curve replacement. Due to the need to establish and support non-repudiation, a new efficient signature system was developed.
