The workflow allocation among cloud resources has become critical due to the rapid expansion of cloud technology. Securing confidential information and ensuring reliable performance depend on robustness, security, and trust in the allocation process. This paper presents a framework that integrates security, trust, and robustness for workflow allocation and also explores the relationship among them. Additionally, it explains the role of trust and how it impacts on enhancement of security and robustness in workflow allocation. This study aims to raise awareness about the evolving landscape of secure and robust cloud workflow allocation by highlighting key trends and future directions.
