Analysis of Corrosion Monitoring and Wellbore Test of Salt Cavern Gas Storage Well

The salt cavern gas storage of Jintan area has been put into operation for many years, with that the elevant matching technologies and methods are also improving gradually. In order to get corrosion status of wellbore, and provide technical support for operation and dynamic analysis of gas injection and production, methods of hanging slice monitoring and testing under pressure were conducted on corrosion monitoring and wellbore test of production wells with different condition of operation and rate, which was followed by data analyzition and evaluation at last. According to results, the effects of gas production on corrosion of wellbore is relatively obvious, especially it has a positive correlation with the gas rate. Meanwhile gas-injection can delay the development of corrosion, therefore corresponding treatment should be adopted at the production sites. Besides, the distribution of wellbore’s pressure and temperature during gas production and injection has certain regularity. This research has theoretical and practical significance for the perfection of technical content of wellbore monitoring and the establishment of corresponding monitoring technique system in salt cavern gas storage well.
