While most executives believe that engaged employees are performing more effectively, less than half of the respondents said they had seen a favourable return on investment from their initiatives to engage staff, and 37% thought it was an important priority for their organisation. It is vital for organisations to understand the key principles of employee engagement to overcome that gap. It is vital to understand what drives involvement and how it can be effectively measured. This knowledge is essential for creating a working environment in which the involvement of employees not only exists but also significantly contributes to their success. The pyramid is divided into three levels of engagement: job engagement, which includes (i) passion, (ii) encouragement.
