Exploration and Practice of Printing Standardization Based on SCCA
摘要
This paper focuses on the feasibility of printing standardization based on SCCA. The ISO/PAS15339 standard specifies that each characterization reference printing condition is only related to the printing conditions and is not limited by the printing method. When the substrate chromaticity is inconsistent with the characterized reference printing conditions, SCCA can be used. This paper determines the effect of substrate color correction on the consistency of the dataset through the analysis of data from specific test charts printed by digital printing. It is shown that SCCA is not a complete remedy, but can provide some correction for paper-induced color differences. The use of this method allows color management and standardization to be more flexible and practical.
