Humanitarian logistics plays a pivotal role in disaster response and relief operations, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of aid to affected populations. This comprehensive thematic review synthesises existing literature on critical success factors (CSFs) in humanitarian logistics, aiming to identify key themes and factors that contribute to successful outcomes in humanitarian logistics operations. Drawing from interdisciplinary research in logistics, supply chain management, and disaster management, this paper identifies the key factors in humanitarian logistics operations including the effective coordination and collaboration, information and communication integration and management, flexibility and adaptability, risk management and resilience, and stakeholder engagement and capacity building.
