Its adoption in refugee management, aid distribution, and healthcare delivery has enhanced the accuracy, security, and efficiency of operations in crisis situations. By integrating systems like fingerprint recognition, facial and iris scanning, and voice authentication, humanitarian organizations such as the UNHCR and the WFP have streamlined processes, minimized fraud, and ensured equitable resource distribution. However, these advancements bring challenges, including privacy concerns, data security risks, and ethical dilemmas related to informed consent and potential exclusion.
