Building a Custom Chatbot for the Educational Domain

In order to improve student learning and accelerate administrative procedures, educational institutions are increasingly looking to modern technology in today’s quickly changing digital landscape. The purpose of this article is to provide a thorough study of a chatbot system’s effectiveness in dealing with a variety of academic and administrative difficulties by examining its installation and effects within a university’s Department of Computer Applications. The design and development of a customized chatbot suited to the particular requirements of the Department of Computer Applications is described in the study’s opening section. The chatbot functions as a virtual assistant by utilizing Langchain Technology to respond the queries about course details, program requirements, faculty information, and other related academic topics. Through these feedback mechanisms, the chatbot’s Accuracy is used to evaluate performance, reaction time, and user satisfaction. Its goal is to improve the academic performance and general satisfaction of students in the Department of Computer Applications. The outcomes and conclusions published in this journal shed light on the possible advantages and difficulties of implementing intelligent chatbots within academic departments. This study significantly advances our understanding of the ongoing debate on artificial intelligence’s application in education. Particularly in the context of computer applications, as institutions work to remain at the forefront of technological breakthroughs. This study’s impacts go beyond the Department of Computer Applications, it can be used as a guide by organizations looking to improve their academic support services through implementing intelligent chatbot technology.
