Cervical Cancer Detection Through Lens: A Review of Image Segmentation and Recognition Approaches
摘要
Some humans have misconceptions about cervical cancer and ovarian cancer. They are considered to be similar as they are gynaecological illnesses. However, human beings should be aware that both cancers have an effect on reproductive organs but in special components. They have specific risks, unique symptoms, unique treatments, and exceptional survival prices. Cervical cancer is found in the cells of the cervix which is the lower part of the uterus that is connected to the vagina, whereas the ovarian cancer is found in the fallopian tube or the ovaries. Cervical cancers are typically precipitated by chronic contamination with high-threat strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV). Cervical cancer is sluggishly modern, taking into consideration early detection through everyday pap smears and HPV testing. In today’s world, computer vision and its techniques along with the different models of AI and ML such as CNN (Marakala et al. in 2022 4th International conference on inventive research in computing applications (ICIRCA) (pp. 935–939), Coimbatore, India. https://doi.org/10.1109/ICIRCA54612.2022.9985537 ) have been a huge assisting hand within the area of medical science. With the help of image segmentation and image recognition, we are capable of finding out how deep the disorder is. By far, it is noticed that the detection of cancer is done with the help of computer vision and its techniques but treatment in accordance with the stage of cancer has not been predicted. Through the research we will be able to predict the treatment for any defined stage with the help of different techniques of computer vision.
