Assessing the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) for AI-Based Cooking Robots
摘要
The rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has ushered in a new era of technological integration into our lives. AI, with its ability to learn, adapt, and perform tasks autonomously, has permeated various aspects of our existence, from virtual assistants on our smartphones to sophisticated algorithms driving decision-making in businesses and industries. Amid this AI revolution, one of the most compelling manifestations of technology’s potential is the advent of cooking robots. These culinary marvels exemplify the synergy between AI and everyday life, offering a glimpse into a future where our kitchens are not just spaces for culinary creativity but also hubs of technological assistance and innovation. This research investigates the profound influence of AI-driven cooking robots on the landscape of home cooking. As AI technologies rapidly evolve, cooking robots exemplify the fusion of innovation and culinary convenience, promising to revolutionize meal preparation. This study, conducted with a sample size of 275 participants, delves into the impact of psychological factors such as optimism, innovativeness, discomfort, and insecurity on individuals’ readiness to welcome cooking robots into their kitchens. By exploring the intricate interplay between AI, cooking robots, and user acceptance, our findings shed light on the inevitability of technology’s transformative role in shaping the future of home dining.
