The tasks in paddy cum fish cultivation system are carried out manually by females and all the five tasks are repetitive in nature. Health hazards of the workers were collected through a survey among 58 workers in the age group of 28–76 years. Around 91% farmers experienced health hazard in fish-catching activities. About 45% farmers sought medical attention for the injuries. Farmers with 50 years age or above have significantly (p < 0.05) higher incidence of injuries related to trench foot and finger cuts during fish trap cleaning. Farmers having five feet and more standing height face a significantly higher risk of trench foot (OR: 4.971 and 95% CI: 1.532–16.13) as well as dizziness (OR: 4.121 and 95% CI: 1.031–16.48). Farmers with more than 30 years of experience exhibit a considerably higher in injuries caused by trench foot, parasites/worms, aquatic insect bites and finger cuts during fish trap cleaning (p < 0.05).
