Virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, and other immersive technologies are now playing an important role in many fields, including intangible cultural heritage. This paper explores the efficient way for intangible cultural heritage’s digital dissemination and protection, based on augmented reality and multi-sensory feedback. With the combination of art design and augmented reality, we exploit an APP with the theme of Beijing silk figurines. This paper mainly mentions our designation and conception of the APP, and we also complete the preliminary exploitation. We emphasis the handicrafts, visual design, hearing and interaction in the overall design of the APP. Users can experience the various steps of making a Beijing silk figurines, and also get an immersive art experience through the APP. Reducing the cost of the AR experience so that people can make silk figures using their cell phones, as a way to increase the breadth of dissemination of intangible cultural heritage.
