The need of environmental surveillance has increased as pollution, climate change, and biodiversity loss present ecosystems with previously unheard-of difficulties. Micro/Nano plastics (MNPs) are a major environmental hazard because they may permanently harm human health and ecosystems. Because of their tiny size and low concentration in polluted water, MNPs are difficult to remove and separate economically even in the face of extensive contamination. Conventional approaches to MPs monitoring are frequently labor-intensive, time-consuming, and have a narrow focus. As a result, cutting-edge innovations being explored to improve ecosystem monitoring include MP robots. These tiny, independent devices provide a more thorough and effective method of environmental monitoring as they can identify, gather, and evaluate micro-plastics in real time. The development of micro/Nano robots (MNRs) as a cutting-edge strategy to reduce MNP pollution is encouraging. The novelty of this review work lies in managing MPs in cost efficient and labor friendly ways using robots.

摘要
