This paper presents an overview of Typical Case Diagnosis Consistency Evaluation Task in CHIP 2024 Conference. ( http://www.cips-chip.org.cn/2024/eval3 ) This shared task integrates diagnostic medical record information for a variety of common diseases and aims to conduct a comprehensive and monitored evaluation of the diagnostic capabilities of large medical models by simulating the decision-making process of doctors in diagnosing diseases. Numerous teams from both industry and academia actively participated in the shared tasks, with the leading teams achieving remarkable test results. This paper provides a detailed overview of the tasks, datasets, evaluation metrics, and the top-performing solution. Finally, it summarizes the techniques employed and the evaluation results of the diverse approaches explored by the participating teams.
