This chapter investigates the role of microfinance in empowering women entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh, India, with a focus on microcredit, microsavings, and microfinance training. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study examines how these financial services enhance women’s socio-economic empowerment. The findings highlight that microfinance training has the strongest impact on empowerment, followed by microcredit, while microsavings show minimal influence. The chapter emphasizes the importance of capacity building and tailored financial services to address challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. The study concludes with recommendations to improve the effectiveness of microfinance programs and promote inclusive development.
