Happiness is typically understood as a condition of overall life satisfaction, which cultivates meaningful relationships and a sense of purpose. Many people mistakenly believe that wealth is a source of happiness, yet money alone cannot provide lasting fulfilment. In pursuing wealth, individuals may lose touch with their true selves, emotions, and inherent value. Genuine happiness is not dependent on material possessions or financial success. There are nine essential elements of practising happiness. In this chapter, an attempt has been made to define ‘HAPPINESS’ in terms of its nine components i.e., Healthy Heart, Activity/Action, Positivity, Pleasurable Experiences, Intellect, Nonattachment, Environment, Success, and Subjective Well-being. Happiness is something that we can link with these positive aspects. We believe that happiness seekers should practice these and consider them part of their quest.
