Circular Economy Trends in the DX, SX, and GX Era
摘要
This chapter examines the transition from linear to circular economic models, emphasizing the integration of Digital Transformation (DX), Sustainability Transformation (SX), and Green Transformation (GX) to advance circular economy (CE) principles. CE aims to reduce waste, extend product lifecycles, and optimize resource use, aligning with sustainability goals. Key trends include leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies, such as IoT, AI, and blockchain, to enable reverse logistics, resource tracking, and product-as-a-service models. Barriers like cultural resistance, limited infrastructure, and regulatory gaps are highlighted alongside solutions like extended producer responsibility (EPR) and eco-innovation. The 9R framework underscores lifecycle strategies for maximizing resource value. Policy support, consumer engagement, and innovative business models are essential for scaling CE practices. By aligning DX’s technology, SX’s equity, and GX’s environmental focus, CE offers transformative potential for sustainable economic growth and resilience.
