Dementia is a cognitive disorder that affects the cognitive capabilities like memory loss and logical reasoning of an individual during an age above 60. This disorder severely affects the lifestyle of the individual. In India, the caregiving and nursing for dementia is a major challenge. A case study of two people with dementia was conducted in the nursing homes and caregivers in Kerala, India. The study also aims to assess the activities, behavior, and personal and social values the patients hold. The findings of the study were that one demented individual (P1) showed hallucination of familiar faces with pre-existing TV characters. While the other demented individual (P2) demonstrated micro-healthcare problems, i.e., talking about the food resistance, less interest in beauty, and self-care in life. The key emphasis on the current dementia study was based on understanding on how every day activities is organized to enable design interventions.
