Chapter 8 provides a comprehensive assessment of key technologies for controlling rainfall runoff pollution in urban areas. In urban rainfall runoff pollution control projects, the effectiveness of individual key technologies is often limited. It usually requires the combination of multiple individual technologies to form an integrated technology for engineering application. During the process of applying integrated technology in engineering projects, it is important to not only focus on technical performance but also consider the economic benefits, ecological and environmental benefits, and long-term maintenance of the integrated technology. In order to effectively evaluate the engineering application effects of integrated technology, this chapter constructs an evaluation method for the performance assessment of integrated technology in controlling urban rainfall runoff pollution. It evaluates the performance of three integrated technology engineering applications: the runoff pollution control project in Wuxi, the overflow pollution control project in Hefei, and the surface runoff pollution purification project in Chongqing. The application effects of integrated technology in controlling runoff pollution are analyzed.
