Chapter 6 systematically summarizes the research achievements of the National Major Science and Technology Project on Water Pollution Control and Treatment in the field of urban stormwater runoff pollution control. Through assessments of technological readiness, innovation, and comprehensive performance, it screened and integrated 72 technological achievements. It constructed a full-chain techno-logical system covering diagnostic assessment, source reduction, process control, and end-of-pipe treatment. Moreover, the chapter proposes technical application models adaptable to different urban areas and drainage systems, including LID technologies, rainwater inlet retrofitting, overflow regulation and storage, and ini-tial rainwater purification. Several application examples in China is shown, demonstrating that the effectiveness of these technologies in practical engineering, achieving effective control of runoff pollution and improvement in water envi-ronment quality. These technological processes and integrated systems provide robust technical support and solutions for urban stormwater runoff pollution con-trol in China.
