This study maps user perceptions towards ethical approaches of artificial intelligence (AI) in mobile applications. The study analyzed various AI mobile apps based on different themes of ethics, including privacy, transparency, accountability, safety and security, human control of technology, fairness and nondiscrimination, and promotion of human value. User’s perception towards ethical dimensions of apps were analyzed using Binary logistic regression. The finding suggests that understanding of science and technology, gender and understanding of AI play a momentous role in perception towards AI Ethics. The findings also suggests that developers should prioritize improving their policies and practices related AI ethics dimensions.
