Steganography is a key component of secure communication and is the technique of concealing information within other non-confidential data. The least significant bit (LSB) method is particularly effective and straightforward when dealing with digital photographs, outperforming other methods in the process. The LSB technique, which includes determining the lowest amount of pixel values in an image to capture hidden messages, is thoroughly reviewed in this study. We expand its use to encompass comprehension and judgment, as well as exhibit the capacity to maintain the cover image’s aesthetic integrity. By use of experimental investigation, we show the usefulness of the LSB data concealing technique, going into both its benefits and drawbacks. Our findings demonstrate the value of the LSB technique as a solution for digital data encryption.
