The emergence of blockchain technology, coupled with fintech innovations, has the potential to transform the banking industry by offering enhanced security, transparency, and efficiency in financial transactions. However, the successful adoption of fintech-enabled blockchain banking services ultimately depends on consumers’ willingness to embrace these innovative technologies. This study investigates the key factors that influence consumers’ intention to adopt fintech-enabled blockchain technology in their banking activities by reviewing the existing literature. The study proposes a conceptual framework exploring the technological, individual, and environmental determinants of consumers’ adoption intention. The technological factors derived include perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived security, and perceived transparency. The individual factors encompass technological readiness, risk tolerance, trust in technology, and financial literacy. The environmental factors comprise social influence, regulatory framework, and industry adoption. The study employs a quantitative research approach, utilizing a survey-based data collection method. A sample of banking consumers is surveyed to assess the relationship between the proposed factors and their intention to adopt fintech-enabled blockchain banking services. The findings of this study offer valuable insights for banks, fintech companies, and policymakers in understanding the key drivers and barriers to the adoption of fintech-enabled blockchain technology in the banking industry. The results can guide the development of effective strategies and policies to promote the widespread acceptance of these innovative banking services among consumers.
